Aussie and me after his first NW1 trial in 2023
My nosework journey began in 2020, when I was looking for a way to keep my dogs engaged, challenged, and truly enriched. What started as a simple activity quickly became so much more. It became a source of purpose, joy, and connection for both me and my dogs. Nosework has given us a reason to celebrate each small discovery, to explore together, and to tap into their incredible natural abilities in a way that’s fun, meaningful, and rewarding.
Through nosework, I developed a deep bond with my dogs that goes beyond walks or playtime. It’s a partnership built on trust, communication, and shared excitement, a bond that feels rare and incredibly special. Along the way, I also found my people: a welcoming, passionate community that inspires and challenges me to grow alongside my dogs.
This journey has given me so much, and it fuels my desire to share the gift of nosework with others. Helping dogs and their handlers experience the confidence, joy, and connection that comes from exploring the world with their noses is something I am very much looking forward to.
